Capital Campaign

In an effort to expand our use of the auditorium and building rental space to corporate functions, as well as more and larger events, we have decided to begin a Capital Campaign to recover and update the round seating area. Many sections have become worn and even torn from many years of use. There are 16 sections on the round couch, and our upholsterer has quoted us $1000.00 per section, for a total of $16,000.00. The seating was purchased in 1982 when then CIC, George Hoehenshildt, began the renovation of the Ballroom and the Atrium areas

Description

As you may be aware, we have undertaken the challenge of updating and refreshing the Harrisburg Scottish Rite Atrium seating, the round couch. I’m sure you are aware of the important role that we play in serving the Central Pennsylvania region by hosting numerous public and private functions with quality rental space for events. This is in addition to the countless Masonic activities, formal ceremonies and social events of our Consistory.

The seating was purchased in 1982 when then CIC, George Hoehenshildt, began the renovation of the Ballroom and the Atrium areas.

To that end, we have begun a capital campaign in support of our current improvements. We would like to count on you to help us make our project a success. You may send your check to the Valley office or go to the Valley website and donate by credit card or call the office and we can help you.

Thanking you in advance for your generosity and support of this important Harrisburg Scottish Rite project.

Sincerely and Fraternally,
Ill. D. Scott Goodhart, 33°
